He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Reed and Virginia Reed of Ernest, Pennsylvania.; and his siblings, Peggy Sabo (Richard) and Eugene Reed (Peggy). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Reed of Indiana, Pennsylvania.; his son Lester Reed, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lorna Reed; his cousins, Betty Jones of Ashville, NC, Mary Ellen Mansfield of Ashville, NC and Jeri Legeag of Ashville, NC; and his sister-in-law Carol Simpkins of Bridgeton, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
