He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottfried Baier and Margaret Jean Baier (Durrant). He is survived by: his wife Susan (Hiller); his children, Alex Baier (Emma) and Hannah Durr (Joe); his grandchildren, Jackson, Lillian and Maren; his siblings, Judie Ritchie, Sharon Miller and Ron Ritchie; and his mother-in-law Janet Hiller (late Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
