He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Stella; and his sisters, Viola Maruska, Shirley Jones and Diana Noe.
He is survived by: his wife Renate; his children, Mel Wilk Jr., Robyn Blankenship (Richard), Jeff Wilk (Amy), Crystal Bogdan and Pete Bogdan (Jaclyn); his brothers, Edward Wilk (late Helen), Dennis Wilk (Darla), Stan Wilk (Gerry) and Ricky Wilk (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Cara Eckels, Ethan Eckels, Brayden Eckels, Ciera Shope (Cody), Faith Blankenship, Jacob Wilk (Racheal) and Haley Wilk. He is also survived by Four Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many Cousins.
