He is survived by: his wife Wilma; his children, Bernard Sargent (Kareen) and Joyce Almeida; his stepchildren, Deborah Durnwald, Joseph Di Vito (Susan) and Sandra Schaldach; his grandchildren, Alan Almeida, Steven Almeida, Janel Shaw and Tracy Diaz; and his siblings, Mary Ann Vithous and Chuck Klimik.
