He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Phillips and Marilyn E. Johnson (Aron); his brother Timothy Phillips; and his pet Gizmo. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Phillips (Skubovius); his stepchildren, David Kalemba (Lydia) of Loganville, GA and Tricia Kalemba (Chris Urban) of Brunswick, OH; his siblings, Debra Acker (Barry) of Vail, AZ, Mary James (George) of Clearwater, FL, Alfred Phillips (Mary Grace) of North Royalton, OH and Matthew Phillips (Stephanie) of Pearland, TX; his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Morgan, Paul and Grace; and his great grandchild Jaxon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Homes - Brunswick (1642 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Cemetery Main Entrance. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
