He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard E. Stands and Marie Estelle Stands; his wife Janet Lynne Stands; his children, Jeff (Wendy) of Beavercreek, OH, Leah Lanier (Scottie) of Lexington, VA and Ilene Hackett (Chris) of Medina, OH; his grandchildren, Austin Stands, Tyler Stands, Dillon Stands, Evan Lanier, Rachel Lanier, Nevee Hackett and Fernie Hackett; and his siblings, Pat Chiaravalle (Eugene), Robert Stands (Denise), Bev Sajna (Mark), Gene Stands (late Marty) and Marilyn Robinson (Rick). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
