He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Kastner and Hazel Kastner (Ulery); his wife Mary (Hearns); and his children, Bryan Kastner, Beverly and Barbara Kastner.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kastner, Jr. (Janeen), Diane Fleming (Chris) and Faye Barkdull (Scott); his grandchildren, Vincent, Alex (Karla), Ian, Brandon, Katherine (Sam) and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Zariah and Beau; and his siblings, Bruce, Charles Kastner and LaVerne Hope. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
