He was predeceased by: his brother Gary Schafer (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Garrity-Schafer; his children, Mary Theresa, Brian Michael, Stephen Matthew, Christine Clare, Russell and Michelle; and his brother Glenn Schafer (Audrey).
