It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shannon R. Young Sr. of Brunswick, Ohio, born in Webbville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Young and Hermia Young; his former wife Elva Young (Girting); his daughter Barbara Fraelich; and his brothers, Vernor "Buster", Sheridan of Minos, L. G. and Clinton.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Shannon Jr. Young (Nancy), Richard Young and Cindy Nolan; his stepdaughter Lisa Stann; and his sisters, Lois Webb (Jerry) and Jewell Clark-Klumpp. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
