He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Belia (Schuttenberg) and Harold Belia; and his sister Debra Records (Belia). He is survived by: his girlfriend Jane Schofield; and his sibling's children, Adam Records (Stephanie) and Vanessa Henkel (Tom).
