He is survived by: his mother Lois Pettry (Darlington); his wife Bonnie Buchman (Haught); his children, Thomas Pettry, George Pettry, Maureen Centa and Stephanie Spencer; his stepchildren, Daniel Buchman, Michelle Sargent (Jeremy) and Thea Hawkins; his grandchildren, Nicholas Spencer and Elizabeth Spencer; and his siblings, Timothy Pettry (Lisa) and Kimberly Dubs (Randy).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Polaris Christian Church (3289 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212).
