It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Butcher of Brunswick, Ohio, born in Shively, West Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Butcher and Bessie Butcher; and his siblings, Vida, Thelma, Nick, Jim, Grace, Ann, Carrie, Mack, Maxine, Ray and Roy.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Ronald Butcher (Geralyn) and Randal Shari; his grandchildren, Sarah (Geoff), Kelly and Dena; his great grandchildren, Leanna, Adella and Ryleigh; and his siblings, John Jr., Uldeen and Chuck. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“I was very lucky to have been a Royal Ranger at Bethel Temple Church in Parma Ohio.in the 1970’s. Commander Butcher was truly a great man. I always remember how he referred to Jesus as the Master Ranger when he would give a devotion to the group on a Wednesday evening or at a camping trip. Ronnie,Randy and Mrs. Butcher I am very sorry for your loss.”
