He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine (Murr); his children, Shelia, Sherrie Ann and Carl Lester; his parents, Russell and Zelma of Del Rio; and his siblings, Jack, Clayton, Chester, Bashie and Pauline.
He is survived by: his siblings, Graydon, Roy, Creed, Lessie Mae and Geneva; his children, Dale, June (Mitchell), Leslie and Angella (Walters); and his grandchildren, Adam, Lindsey (Darnall), Brian, Meggie (Lanum), Cory, Karli (Ziegler), Bethany, Tim Kenyon, Emily and Kale Bandy. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name are encouraged to The Salvation Army of Cleveland or Unity Free Will Baptist Church.
