He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Vargo and Mary Vargo (Nestich). He is survived by: his wife Jean Vargo; his daughter Kellie Phillips; his siblings, Lynn Witte (John) and Alan Vargo; his nephews, Evan Witte (Amy) and Ryan Witte; and his great-niece Hannah Witte. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
