He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Buell and Dorothy Buell (Everett) of Edon; his wife Donna Thomas; and his brother Henry Buell. He is survived by : his children, Charlene Priest (Bill) of Bryan, Craig Buell (Marjorie) of Bryan and Scott Buell of Findlay, Ohio; and his grandchildren, John Priest (Amy), Erika Slough (Adam), Evan Buell (Katie) and Ryan Buell (Jenna). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
