It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jane Gilmer of Bryan, Ohio, born in Conneaut, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rodney Steiger, and Helen Steiger, Sr. (McManus). She is survived by : her children, Christa Dewire (Tony) of Holland, Craig Francisco (Amy) of Holland, Brad Gilmer (Amy) of New Albany and Abby Tieman (Nathan) of Hilliard, Ohio; her grandchildren, Libby, Andrew, Will, Emma, Alex, Jacob, Paige, Tyler, Tommy and Jackson; her brother Rodney Steiger, Jr. (Gail) of Orrville, Ohio; her niece Jenny; her nephew Steven; and her pet Charley.
