It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryle J. Newman of Bryan, Ohio, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Weber and Norma Weber (Kerr); her husband John Newman; and her sister Bonnie Slough. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Lemp (Shawn) of Buffalo, MN and Melanie Gavin (Eric) of Golden, CO; her grandchildren, Ande Eich, Max Lemp (Claire) and Henry Lemp (Claire); her great grandchildren, Gideon Lemp, Ruben Lemp and Eleanor Lemp; and her sister Deb Hughart (Stan) of Edgerton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren (1500 Center St, Bryan, OH 43506). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
