He is survived by: his sons, Jason Pettit (Samantha) of Edgerton, Jacob Pettit of Bryan and Joseph Pettit (Sara) of Montpelier; his daughter-in-law Cecilia Pettit of Edgerton; his stepmother Nancy Pettit of Bryan; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Klein of Alabama; and his siblings, Rod Pettit (Karen) of Bryan, Robin Moreland (Ed) of Pioneer and Scott Pettit (Linda) of Cecil. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
