With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Rinkel Jr. of Bryan, Ohio, born in Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on April 27, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James P. Rinkel, and Dortha G. Rinkel, Sr. (Crites); and his brother Duane D. Rinkel. He is survived by : his wife Margie E. Wonderly; his children, Tony J. Rinkel of St. Marys, Scott A. Rinkel (Tricia) of Defiance, Ohio and Melissa Maneval (Scott) of West Unity, Ohio; his grandchildren, Alexandra Lucas (Cody), Emily, Timothy Maneval, Landon and Lance Rinkel; and his great grandchildren, Nolan and Mason Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Williams County Humane Society or Edgerton Athletic Boosters.
