He was predeceased by : his parents, William P. Armstrong and Myrtle M. Armstrong (Leninger); his former life partner Bernadine Kreiger; his children, Donna and David Armstrong; his former life partner Bernadine Armstrong; his daughter-in-law Shelley Armstrong; his grandsons, Dominic and Kyle Murray; and his brothers, Michael and William Armstrong.
He is survived by : his wife Patricia Morgan; and his children, Debra Christman of Bryan, Ricky Armstrong of San Antonio, Annette Eberly of Bryan, Bradley Armstrong of Edgerton and Jamie Pursel (Bill) of Wauseon.
