He was loved and cherished by many people including : his pet Jack; his parents, Santos Martinez and Maria Martinez; his spouse Rosleta O'Day; his sons, John Martinez (Carol) of Bryan and Michael Martinez of Johnson City, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Stacy Kitchen, Cody Herman (Hannah), Miranda Wiles (Josh) and Catlin Reiman (Blake); his great grandchildren, Weston, Cayson Herman, Hadley, Amelia Reiman and Elliot Wiles; and his siblings, Leonor Martinez (Alfonso) of Williams Center, Maria Ofelia Caustrita of Stryker Ohio, Benito and Jose Martinez (Pepe). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are requested to St. Patrick Catholic Church or the Williams County Humane Society.
