He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ludwig and Honora "Nora" E. Ludwig (Russell); his wife Sharon K. Ayers; his son Jim Ludwig (Chris) of Bryan; his grandchildren, Alan Ludwig (Amanda) of Defiance and Paige Ludwig-Cafruni (Jason) of Grand Rapids, OH; his great grandchildren, Arlo, Marco and Kimber; his sister Ruth Cooley of Bryan; his great grandchild Arlee; and his siblings, Roy, Bill Ludwig and Nieva Stark.
