She was predeceased by : her parents, William John and Edna Ester Ruetz (Eff); her former life partner Howard L. Koch; her husband John Pitts; her son Dale Koch; and her siblings, Roseltha Wilson, Walter Ruetz, Wayne Ruetz, James Ruetz, Harold Ruetz, June Ream, Donald Ruetz, Glen John Ruetz, Dorothy Ruetz, Ronald Ruetz and Carl Ruetz.
She is survived by : her sons, Dan Koch (Susan) of Bryan and Doug Koch (Connie) of Wauseon; her daughter-in-law Rosanna Koch of West Unity; and her grandchildren, Jamie Bonewitz, Jodie Slone (Jason), Jacob Koch, Erin Brickner (Andy), Adam Wharton (Lisa) and Eric Wharton (Jennifer). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
