She was predeceased by : her parents, Olan H. Rubel and Bertha E. Rubel (McDonald); her husband Max Castor; her son David Castor; her siblings, Gerald, Don, Jim, Ned Rubel, Lois Clarke and Sharon Newing; her stepsister Phyllis Hagelberger; and her stepmother Dorothy Rubel (Steele).
She is survived by : her grandchildren, Tammy Fulford of Austin, Texas and Heath Castor of Austin, Texas; her great grandchild Paul Fulford; and her great great grandchild Troy Fulford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
