He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Brickel and Margaret A. Brickel (Reinhold); and his siblings, Robert Brickel and Patricia Gumbert. He is survived by: his spouse Dee A. Miller; his children, Craig Brickel (Diana) and Pamela Reed (Douglas) of Defiance; his grandsons, Joshua Brickel, Kodi Reed and Christopher Brickel; his brother David Brickel (Diane) of Hicksville; and his pet Harley.
