Richard left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Brickel and Margaret A. Brickel (Reinhold); and his siblings, Robert Brickel and Patricia Gumbert. He is survived by: his spouse Dee A. Miller; his children, Craig Brickel (Diana) and Pamela Reed (Douglas) of Defiance; his grandsons, Joshua Brickel, Kodi Reed and Christopher Brickel; his brother David Brickel (Diane) of Hicksville; and his pet Harley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Krill Funeral Service - Bryan (860 W Mulberry St, Bryan, OH 43506). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (506 Oxford Dr, Bryan, OH 43506).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Dick may be given to the American Cancer Society, JAR- Justice Animal Rescue or NAMI- National Alliance on Mental Illness. In memory of Richard L.
