It is with sadness that the passing of Richard K. Harpster (Bryan, Ohio) is shared. Richard, born on April 23, 1934, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest D. Harpster and Catherine M. Harpster (Wyatt); his wife Janet C. Harpster; his son Michael Harpster; and his brother Robert Harpster.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Andre (Carl) of Bryan, Ohio; his granddaughters, Tiffany Brieve (Jeremy) of Holland and Courtney Whitlach (Adam) of Hudson, Ohio; his sisters, Sandra Sue Gratton of New Haven and Patricia Elkington (Tom) of Cave Creek, Arizonia; and his sister-in-law Cathi Lou Harpster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bryan Alliance Church (220 W Fountain Grove Dr, Bryan, OH 43506). A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alliance Church (220 W Fountain Grove Dr, Bryan, OH 43506). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bryan Alliance Church (220 W Fountain Grove Dr, Bryan, OH 43506).
Memorial contributions may be made to Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center or Bryan Alliance Church.
