He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl I. Lirot and Rosemary L. Lirot (Fetzer); his former wife Ann Patton; and his son Mark Lirot. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Scott Lirot (Teresa) of Bryan, Ted Lirot (Pam) of Bryan and Clarissa Rigg (Paul) of West Unity; and his siblings, Steve Lirot of Bryan and Nancy English (Larry) of Westerville, Ohio.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to give a memorial donation may give to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
