She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Bidlack and Margaret Bidlack (Thomas); her son Chris "Slim" Smith; her brother-in-law Jim Fackler; and her close friend Vickie Woolace.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Ford of Bryan; her children, Jason Smith (Shelly) of Bryan and Jennifer Dixon of Broomfield, Colorado; her grandchildren, Colton Smith, Marah Smith, Harper Smith, Braeden Dixon, Cohen Dixon and Macie Smith; her great grandchild Weston; and her siblings, Kay Fackler of Montpelier, Tom Bidlack (Marcia) of Montpelier, Myra Haase (Dave) of Edon, Alan Bidlack (Jody) of Pioneer and Sue Manley (Denny) of Montpelier.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (903 Center St, Bryan, OH 43506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to a fund to be established at the Bryan Area Foundation, Ruth Ford Memorial Scholarship, or Williams County Cancer Assistance.
