She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles I. Shaffer and Pearl M. Shaffer (Hutchison); her husband Marvin E. Pierce; her son Glen A. Pierce; and her grandson Eric Pierce.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian Eitniear (Kristi) of Defiance, Mark Eitniear (Laurie) of Pioneer, Cindy Navarette of Florida and Laura Brodock of Michigan. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Wesley United Methodist Church.
