He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kern and Charlene Kern; and his brother Jeff Kern. He is survived by: his children, David Kern (Melissa), Taylor Lasley (Jason) and Kyle Kern (Myah Wagner); his wife Tiffany Kern; his grandchildren, Kaiden, Bentley, Veylee, Sawyer, Lucas, Ezra, Charlotte and Iylah; his siblings, Vicky Roughton (Keith) and Mike Kern (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Marsha Kern.
