With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted L. Mathes of Bryan, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen A. Mathes and Helen M. Mathes (Hissong); his grandson Cody Allan Lyons; his sister Helena "Sue" Trusdle; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Fenner and Susanne Mathes.
He is survived by: his wife Anita C. Alvaney of Bryan, Ohio; his daughters, Tara Spisak (Chris) of Bryan and Tricia Lyons (Mike) of Pioneer, Ohio; his grandchildren, Tyler, Chloe, Cade Spisak, Caitlyn, Ashlee and Jacob Lyons; his siblings, Gary Mathes, Glenna Gessner, Janet Fenner, Cathie Schubert (Fred), Margaret Hohenberger (Jim) and Mid Emmelhainz (Dick); and his sister-in-law Jannice Alvaney (Paul).
