He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emerson Opdycke and Ruth Opdycke (Peugeot); his grandchildren, Redding, Logan, Aurora, Rowan, Teagan, Addison, Hudson, Holland, Jackson, Emerson and Lilly; his wife Susie Grubb (Landel); his children, Amanda Opdycke (Daniel Contreras III) and Andrew Opdycke (Gwen Opdycke); his stepsons, Kolby Grubb (Hannah Grubb), Kacey Grubb (Melissa Grubb), Keaton Grubb (Moriah Grubb) and Rocky Grubb; and his sisters, Joan McNamee (Don McNamee) and Jane Elder (Randy Elder).
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pulaski United Methodist Church (6950 US-127, Bryan, OH 43506).
