He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemora Thomas (Nee) and Leonard Bowers; his former wife Carolyn; and his sons, Chris and Jamie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Plybon (Travis) of Texas and Hannah Bowers (Daniel Akers) of Ohio; his adoptive daughter Lyndsay Sowers of Ohio; his pet Adeline of Ohio; his brother-in-law Wayne Cox (Kimmy) of Ohio; and his sister Suzanne McArthur of Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central, Ohio or Honor Flight of Columbus.
