He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Woodruff and Minnie Woodruff (Winebarger); his son Sammie Woodruff; and his siblings, Arthur Woodruff, Esther Byers, Edith Wells, Mary Kilby, Manies Woodruff, Mozel Griffith and Alfred Woodruff.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Woodruff; his daughters, Jo Ann Smith (Tom), Lois Martin (Frank), Becky Williamson (Mike) and Rachel Wyatt (John); his grandchildren, Nick Woodruff, Sara Woodruff, Craig Smith, Cristi Smith, Michael Smith, Thomas Smith, Caitlin Martin-Wagar, Melia Williamson, Mikayla Williamson, Jacob Woodruff and Nathan Dudte; and his sister Marie "DeeDee" Church. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
