It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Freel in Bucyrus, Ohio, born in Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Smith and Daphne Smith (Mahan); her husband Russell Freel; her daughter Tonda Dillon; and her brother William Smith of Bellville.
She is survived by: her stepson Gordon Freel of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Sierra, Jared, Jessica and Jenna; her great grandchildren, Graysen, Brookelyn, Rowan, Kinley, Reis, Zandyn and Willow; and her sister-in-law Mary Smith of Bellville. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
