He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Cooper and Iva M. Cooper (Sifferlen); and his brothers, Terry Cooper and Darl Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Steve Cooper (Tammy) of Lucas and Julie Ann Ricciardi (Richard) of Hoover, Alabama; his grandchildren, Seth Cooper (Morgan), Amber Boyd (Christopher), Christopher Ricciardi (Irena), Shannon Ricciardi and Ricky Ricciardi (Julie); his great grandchildren, Blakely and Ethan Cooper; his sister-in-law Nancy Cooper; and his nieces, Terri Lynn Murphy and Amy Cauvel (John).
His family specially request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the Parkinson's Foundation or the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
