He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Lou Wilson; and his stepfather Rich Long. He is survived by: his parents, Carol A. Lauthers Long (Haas) and Warren D. Lauthers; his wife Cheryle Lauthers; his children, Jason Lauthers (Vanessa) and Julie Stahl (Craig); his grandchildren, Tanner, Zander, Knox and Remi; his brother Mark Lauthers (Tammy); and his siblings-in-law, Ed Wilson and Sharon (Rob Donoho). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bucyrus Nazarene Church (2165 OH-4, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made payable to Bucyrus Nazarene Church, Bucyrus Kiwanis Club, or Bible League International and given through the funeral home.
