He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ley and Lottie Ley (Beller); his daughter Jill Ehrhart; and his siblings, Leo Ley (Magdalena) and Betty May Snavely (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie I. Bippus; his sons, Tim Ley (Debbie) of Bucyrus and Gregg Ley (Char) of Ft. Pierce, Florida; his grandchildren, Neill Ley, Tara Ley, Brian Ley (Lexi), Jeff Ehrhart, Ashley Ley, Preston Ley, Jessalyn Mohn and Jerika Davis; his nieces, Barb Ley-Davidson (Tom) and Cindy Snavely; and his son-in-law Steve Ehrhart. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
