He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter H. Disbennett and Ruth A. Disbennett (Weiss); his brother Walter Disbennett Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Maize, Brenda Disbennett and Robert Pargeon.

He is survived by : his children, Shelli Franklin (David) and Chad Disbennett; his grandchildren, Alexa Franklin and Wyatt Franklin; and his siblings, Allen Disbennett, Timothy Disbennett, Shirley Kalb (John) and Marilyn Pargeon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
