He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Brooks and Elsie Brooks (Edgington); his brother Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Brooks and George Byrd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet L. Reed of Shelby, OH, Mary Pollock (Donald) of Bucyrus and Pamela Brooks of Bucyrus; his grandchildren, Angela Vent (Craig), Elisabeth Smith, Kari Karl (Chris), Amy McHone (Jesse), Lori Dishon (Mike), Stephanie Parker and Tom Parker (Nellie); and his sisters, Ruth Byrd of Mt. Orab, OH and Donna Finley (Charles) of Bucyrus. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
