He was predeceased by: his father Manford Thompson; and his siblings, Gerald, Bert, Samuel, Judith and Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Thompson (Sue), Sheryl Gilley and Lisa Marie Bashaw; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Kelley, Tiffany, Michelle, Katy Beth, Nathaniel and Caleb. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
