It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard A. Koons of Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Koons and Jeanette I. Koons (Morton); his son Gary L. Koons; and his siblings, Robert, Julia and Ellen.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie J. Alheim; his children, Stephen and Karen Grassick (Rob); his grandchildren, Joshua, Kassandra, Kristyn, Amber, Robert, Adam and Alex; and his brothers, Delbert and Lester Koons. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.

If desired, donations can be made payable to Crawford County Council on Aging or a charity of the donor's choice.
