He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl R. Etzinger and Mary Etzinger Dowler (Shaffstall); his wife Miriam; his grandson Taylor Etzinger; his daughter-in-law Ruth Ann Etzinger; and his sister Carol Stineman.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Louis (Mary), Glenda Leuthold, Brenda Myers (Richard), Rhonda Fox (Jamie), Dean Etzinger and Matthew "Scott" Etzinger (Kathy); his grandchildren, Alison Oswald (Andrew), Kasey Ziska (Ben), Shelby Hunter (Nic), Ansley Myers (Brad Chapman) and Shane Etzinger (Leslie); his great grandchildren, Lukas, Griffin, Adele, Quinn, Elly, Avery, Ryker, Riley and Memphis; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Stineman, Victor Cassaro and Walter Schimpf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
