He was predeceased by: his parents, Lennox Comer and Chessie Comer (Goods); his wife Karen Caldwell of Marion, OH; his siblings, Ivan, Marvin, Melvin, Wanda Taylor and Lillian Meynard; and his grandson Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Comer of Bucyrus, Gregory Comer (Amy) of Union City, OH, Tina Ballard (Tim) of McArthur, OH and Philip Comer (Mari) of Patriot, OH; and his sister Kathy Bourguios of New Orleans. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
