He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Staiger and Dessie Staiger (Frank); his son Tim Staiger; and his sisters, Adeline Kocher, Pauline Linn and Mary Ellen Staiger.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Grove (Gordon), Dennis Staiger (Debra), Rodney Staiger (Tina), Joy Britton (John), Jaimie Staiger (Kim) and Dawn Kocher (Todd); and his daughters-in-law, Linda Staiger and Sandy Staiger. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; as well as extended family.
