With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph H. Murr Sr. of Bucyrus, Ohio, born in New London, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd D. Murr and Burnittia Murr (Schafer); his siblings, Frank, Emma Fife, Lillian Myers and Terry Murr; and his stepsons, Michael and Samuel Benedict.

He is survived by : his children, Woody Shepherd (Patricia) of New London, Joseph Murr Jr. (Dawn) of Norwalk, Chris Murr (Lisa), Joshua Murr of Mt. Gilead, Cherokee Watkins (Aaron), Donnie Benedict (Crystal) of Bucyrus, Emma Lilly and Phyllis Benesley (Will); and his siblings, Pete Murr of New London and Pauline Nelson of New London. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
