She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Patton and Clara Patton (Myers); her husband Don Mackling; and her siblings, Jack Patton and Eleanor "Sue" Ahlefeld.
She is survived by: her son Erik Mackling (Heather); her grandchildren, Dan and Beth Mackling; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Dewiel; and her nieces and nephews, Sue Tieben, Kathy Alt, Gwen Brown (Paul), Gail Pastirzyk (Tom), Todd Dewiel (Renee) and Gary Alt (Tonya).
