She is survived by: her siblings, Orville, Stella Peterson, Stanley, Fred, Florence Cogswell, Elwood and Don; her nieces and nephews, Jan, Lynne and Phil; her husband Thomas Paul Moore; her children, Randy Ellen Garrett (Gary), Patricia Kay Moore and Gregory Sather Moore (Barbie); her grandchildren, Chelsea Leigh Thomas (Mark), Abby Paige Chapman (Josh) and Ellie Grace Moore; her great grandchild Killian Joseph Chapman; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Shawna, Tammy, Austin and Cindy Garrett.

When interviewed about her battle with Alzheimer's, LaVonne was asked what she was most afraid of losing; she said, "Family.".
