It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Bender of Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Stover and Wilma Irene Gertenberger (Failor); her husband James F. Bender; her sister Carol Ann Morrison (Failor); her stepsister Beverly Furillo Madison; and her brother-in-law John F. Bender.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Fatzinger (Jerry), Joy Bender, Jeffrey Bender (Vickie), Joan Bender and Jerri Bernt (Doug); her grandchildren, Edward, Lisa, Nathan, Trish, Andrew, Jamie, Jonathan, Sarah of Elizabeth, CJ, Olivia and Kasey; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Braden, Lillian, Harrison, Brody, Cain, Ben, Morgan, Katherine, James and Nashton; her half-sister Barb Stover; her nieces, Alaire Blair (Craig) and Brandy Clark (David); and her great-niece Briana. She is also survived by her family, friends.
