It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Schreck (Bucyrus, Ohio), who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael E. Schreck to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jr. Schreck and Bernice Schreck (Walker); and his brother-in-law Mike Chester. He is survived by: his wife Carol Schreck; his children, Wendy Blamer (Scott), Timothy Schreck (Kim), Jennifer Caldwell (Matthew) and Benjamin Schreck; his grandchildren, Chris Brown (Shawna), Nate Brown (Nicole), Corey Brown, Robbie Schreck (Sarah Prince), Drew Schreck, Aden Caldwell (Lexus Taylor) and Kenna Caldwell (Anthony Evans); his great grandchildren, Camden, Brinley, Lennon and Brady; his siblings, Pamela McDaniel (Harold), Thomas Schreck (Candy) and Dale Schreck (Michele); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Liming (Brenda Young) and Marsha Chester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are encouraged to be made payable to Lemert Church and given at the funeral home.
